Water Polo Congratulates Carded Athletes

BC Water Polo
congratulates the following athletes recently carded by Sport
Canada. Their skill, dedication and commitment are identifying
BC as a dominant force in Canadian and International water
polo.
Sue
Gardiner: Sue is a 2 time Olympian and a member of the
Senior Women's National team. She is a North Vancouver native
and continues her studies in Science and genetics at UBC.
Carmen
Eggens: Carmen is a member of the Jr. National team and is
completing her grade 12 year at Pitt Meadows Secondary.
Kerry
Kaukinen: Kerry is a member of the Jr. National team and
is in her first year of study at McGill University.
Candice
Phillippe: Candice is a member of the Jr. National team
and is completing her grade 12 year at Rock Ridge Secondary in
West Vancouver.
Lara
Kestaloo: Lara has been a member of many National Youth
teams as well as the Top 30. She is in her first year at U
Vic.
Rachel
Riddell: Rachel is a member of the Senior Women's National
team is considered to be one of the top female goalies in the
world. She attends Loyola Marymount Univesity in
southernCalifornia.
Jordan
Boonzaayer: Jordan is on the Top 30 list of Youth and
Junior players in Canada. He is in his first year at UBC.
Matthew
Gore: Matt recently returned from the Jr. Worlds in
Argentina. He is currently finishing his grade 12 year at Sir
Charles Best in Coquitlam.
Clem Hui: Clem
was a member of the Canadian team at the FINA World Games this
summer and the Jr. Worlds in Argentina. He attends the
University of Calgary.
Brandon
Jun: Brandon was a member of the Canadian team at the FINA
World Games this summer and the Jr. Worlds in Argentina. He
attends California Baptist University.
Iain Lark:
Iain was a member of the Canadian team at the FINA World
games this summer. Iain is currently living in Australia he
continues to play with the Senior Men's National team.
Kevin
Mitchell: Kevin is a prominent member of the Sr. Men's
National team and the youngest in BC's "Mitchell
family" water polo dynasty!
Dan Stein:
Dan was a member of the Canadian team at the FINA World
games this summer. He is a member of the Sr. Men's National
team.
Lars
Yunker: Lars is on the Top 30 list of Youth and Junior
players in Canada. He is a native of Victoria.
Thomas
Marks: Thomas was a member of the Canadian team at the
FINA World games this summer. Thomas attends the University of
Calgary.
Con Kudaba:
Con is a member of the Jr. National team. He is currently
attending the University of Calgary.
