B.C. Athletes
Honoured at Alberta Open
B.C. athletes were
recently honoured with awards at the Alberta Open Tournament. Andres
Fierro (Fraser Valley Water Polo Atoms - gold medal team), Monika
Eggens (Pacific Storm Cadet Girls - gold medal team) and Matt Gore
(Pacific Storm Youth Boys - gold medal team) were named Tournament
MVP's.
The Cora Campbell
Award for female athletes and the Mikhail Dykman Award for male
athletes were given to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the
Alberta Open. This award was given to one member of each team who
demonstrated excellent work ethic, willingness to fill any role on
the team, exemplifying leadership and most importantly
sportsmanship.
