The story is often about Robyn Campbell's daughters, top BC
water polo players, Kelsey and Allison. This time the story
has a different twist as Robyn steps into the spotlight. At
the Athlete of the Year Awards Gala held recently Robyn was
presented with the Presidents Award by Brian Gardiner.
The
prestigious award is given annually to a volunteer from a Sport
BC member organization who represents the spirit of
volunteerism, and whose dedication, energy and commitment
contributes to the development of the sport. Robyn, as BC
Water Polo Tournament Director for the past 3 years has done
an outstanding job organizing and running all BC Water Polo
provincial events.
Robyn has
also been a very dedicated Board member known for her
compassion and sense of fairness. As the 2006 President's
Award recipient we congratulate…Robyn Campbell!
