BC High School Water Polo Championship a Hit with Fans

Vancouver, B.C. - The 2006 BC High School Water Polo Championship was played over the weekend at WaterMania in Richmond. The 4 day event was well attended and a huge hit with spectators. "It just keeps getting better!" said an Earl Marriott Secondary supporter. Ten schools from across the province participated in the Championship tournament.

In final play - the gold medal game saw Port Moody Secondary triumph over Burnaby North - Moscrop 7 - 2. The bronze medal easily went to Maple Ridge Secondary who dominated Dr. Charles Best Secondary with a final score of 14 - 3.

GOLD - Port Moody Secondary
SILVER - Burnaby North - Moscrop
BRONZE - Maple Ridge Secondary
4th - Dr. Charles Best Secondary
5th - Earl Marriott Secondary
6th - Yale High School
7th - Centennial Secondary
8th - St. Georges
9th - Stanley Humphries Secondary
10th Terry Fox/ Archbishop Carney Secondary
