Vancouver, B.C. - Five lower mainland athletes are among those recently named to 2006 ASUA roster. Water Polo Canada's Senior Men's National Team Program is pleased to announce the roster for the 2006 ASUA Cup being held in Rio de Janierio, Brazil from October 28th-November 6th, 2006. This event will serve as the qualification tournament for the World Championship in Melbourne, Australia in March 2007.

Harry Zarins, CEO of Water Polo Canada feels that even though this is a young team with key seasoned veterans the goal is to secure a berth in the 2007 World Aquatic Championships. "The team has trained hard and are looking at dramatically improving from their summer showing," stated Zarins
