Pacific Storm Youth Girl's (U18) went into the National
Championship, held over the weekend in Vancouver, fighting to
retain the National crown they claimed for the first time last
year.

It was a disappointing National Championship for BC's cadet
boys. Three strong teams hoped for a medal finish but it
wasn't meant to be---this year.

Bronze
The young BC team posted a 4 win
2 loss record. They fell only to Quebec's DDO 1 and CAMO who
boasted full national team rosters.

its annual awards April 20 in Vancouver. The awards honour
excellence in elite performance, coaching, officiating,
administrating and volunteering.

The
2007 BC High School Water Polo Championship was played over
the weekend at WaterMania in Richmond. The 4 day event was
well attended and a huge hit with spectators. "This is
great water polo" said a Yale Secondary supporter.

Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and the Carol Anne Letheren
Foundation (CALF) announced today that Kelsey Campbell of
Maple Ridge, British Columbia is the recipient of the 2006
Carol Anne Letheren Leadership and Sport Scholarship, a
three-year, $4,500 post-secondary award.

Pacific Storm Cadet Boys (U16) nabbed the silver medal at the
Canadian National Water Polo Club Championships held over the
weekend in Regina. It was a bittersweet end to an outstanding,
undefeated record of tournament play.

Storm Cadet Girls (U16) grabbed the bronze medal at the
Canadian National Water Polo Championships held over the
weekend in Calgary. The 13 member team seemed poised for a
spot in the gold medal round but lost to Dollard des Ormieux
in the final moments of semi final play.

battle for Water Polo Crown
In
final play - the gold medal game saw Port Moody Secondary
triumph over Burnaby North - Moscrop 7 - 2. The bronze medal
easily went to Maple Ridge Secondary who dominated Dr. Charles
Best Secondary with a final score of 14 - 3.

with awards at the Alberta Open Tournament. Andres Fierro
(Fraser Valley Water Polo Atoms - gold medal team), Monika
Eggens (Pacific Storm Cadet Girls - gold medal team) and Matt
Gore (Pacific Storm Youth Boys - gold medal team) were named
Tournament MVP's.

of Pacific Women's Division play. Games were a mixed bag of
