Pannell ... is on the fast track.
Many believe
Biz Pannell was born with a water polo ball in her hand. In
truth she was 6 years old before she actually gripped one. A
strong, naturally gifted player she has been on the move, fast
tracking her way through the local, regional and national
ranks. Last year, at 14, she was chosen to represent Canada as
a member of the Youth National Pan Am Games team.
She returned from the Games in Mexico City with a silver
medal. Her water polo goals are simple and straightforward,
first the Junior National team moving to the Senior National
team all the way to the Olympics. It seems there is little
doubt they will all be achieved.
Biz Pannell is on the fast track.
Biz Pannell lives with her family in Maple Ridge. She is a
grade 10 student at Maple Ridge Secondary.
